At GRIDFLIGHT we offer the necessary training to acquire the official certificate as a drone pilot throughout Spain and Europe, accredited by the State Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

To obtain certification as an official drone pilot, you must undergo two exams during the training: the theoretical part, evaluated by the State Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the practical part, evaluated by GRIDFLIGHT.

Blended time plan
At GRIDFLIGHT we offer blended learning, where you will do the theoretical part online and at your own pace and, the practical part, face-to-face at the airfield with the flight instructor, since you must operate a drone to acquire technical knowledge and learn about the real situations that could occur during a flight.
In addition, depending on the activity, at GRIDFLIGHT we advise and train you in a personalized way to obtain the necessary certificate to carry it out.

Frequently Asked Questions in Advisory Services
What is training made up of?
The training we offer at GRIDFLIGHT has two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is developed by our own instructors, so it is an exclusive training developed with a single objective: to create quality pilots.
The practical part consists of 6 hours of flight time at the appropriate airfield, as it will depend on the location of the courses. During this part you will learn how to operate a drone with your own hands while applying the knowledge from the theoretical part.
Will I be able to carry out any drone project after obtaining accreditation?
Yes. Accreditation as an official drone pilot allows you to operate unmanned aircraft in any activity, always complying with a series of rules.
However, there are two other accreditations that allow operations with UAS without the need for authorization and that entail a low risk: the A1/A2 certificate, which accredits flying drones in the open category throughout Spain and Europe, and the A2 certification, which certifies flying drones in level 2 (UAS of up to 4 kilograms) of training in the open category throughout Spain and Europe.
Is the training strictly face-to-face?
It depends. The theoretical part has three modalities, face-to-face, blended and online, which you can choose once you have enrolled in the course. The practical part, on the other hand, is face-to-face, since you must operate a drone to acquire technical knowledge and learn about the real situations that could occur during a flight.
